Terms and Conditions for Cooking Contest Registration
- Professional Status: Applicants must be licensed Medical Doctors by profession. Proof of medical credentials and license will be required upon registration.
- Camera-Friendliness: Applicants must be comfortable and confident on camera, as the contest will involve filming and public presentation.
- Geographic Location: Applicants must either reside in Abuja, Nigeria, or be willing to travel to Abuja at their own expense for the duration of the event.
- Physical Readiness: Applicants must demonstrate a vibrant, agile, and active demeanor suitable for the dynamic nature of the contest.
- Cooking Skills: Applicants must possess basic cooking skills. Evidence of prior cooking experience or proficiency may be requested.
- Data Use: By submitting the registration form, applicants consent to the collection, storage, and use of their personal data for the purpose of organizing, administering, and promoting the contest. This may include the use of data for marketing and communication purposes related to the contest and future events. Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and will not be shared with third parties without the applicant’s consent.
- Media Release: Applicants grant permission for the use of their name, likeness, and any content submitted or captured during the contest for promotional, advertising, and media purposes without further compensation.
- Compliance: Applicants agree to comply with all contest rules and regulations, including any decisions made by the contest organizers, which are final and binding.
- Liability: The contest organizers are not responsible for any injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation in the contest or attendance at the event.
- Disputes and Resolution: Any disputes arising from the contest will be resolved through informal mediation. If an amicable resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be subject to binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of Nigeria. The decision of the arbitration will be final.
